Recipe Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 cup Demerera Sugar
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Shortening
- 3 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Large Eggs

How To Make
- Take a large mixing bowl and cream the shortening.
- While stirring, add in the peanut butter and demerera sugar.
- Then, in a separate bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup of demerera sugar and the 2 eggs.
- Add the egg mixture to the first mixture and combine well.
- Now sift in the baking powder, salt and flour gradually while stirring.
- Still stirring gently, add in the vanilla extract.
- Turn onto a greased cake pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350 F for about half an hour.
